Philosophy The Westchester Jewish Center Nursery School offers a range of programs for young children; infants through age four. We provide a developmentally appropriate program that supports children’s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth through varied experiences and activities. Through a fully integrated curriculum, children receive a solid Jewish foundation including: holiday celebrations, Shabbat observance and frequent Synagogue visits. The days are structured to provide ample opportunities for busy time and quiet time, and indoor time and outdoor time. A small teacher to student ratio assures that every child gets the individual attention he or she deserves and is given a safe and secure environment. Our flexible schedule allows families to participate in programs one, two, three or five days a week. In addition there are a number of options for after-school enrichment programming as well as a summer camp experience. Click here to open the Nursery School Parent Handbook. Please call us at 914-698-2767 to schedule a tour and to receive an application. Click on the calendar icon in the upper right corner to see Nursery School programming. Nursery School programming is password-protected.
