Westchester Jewish Center

Cemetery Association

Hills The Westchester Jewish Center cemetery is located in Glenville, Connecticut, about 12 miles north of WJC. This beautiful cemetery is maintained by a professional grounds staff and allows WJC to offer its members peace of mind for loved ones buried within its grounds. The Cemetery is open from 8:00am to 4:30pm from November to April and until 5:00pm from May to October. It is closed on Saturdays and Jewish holidays.

Gravesites can be reserved by contacting Ron Rosenberg, chairman of the WJC Cemetery Association, through the synagogue office. He or another member of the Association can show families the grounds and help select an appropriate site. The cost to reserve each gravesite includes perpetual care (landscaping and general maintenance).

The Cemetery Association has its own officers, board and operating budget. It is self-supporting. For more information or to join the Association, please contact Ron Rosenberg at 967-4908.
