Celebrate Purim at WJC!

Come celebrate Purim at WJC! We have lots of fun activities planned during the week of Purim. Please see the schedule below for details!

Sunday, March 9

Purim Carnival – 3:00pm – 5:00pm

Join us to see old and new friends, play games, enjoy an interactive music show for our younger friends, and eat delicious Purim Carnival food.

Ticket prices include carnival games, crafts, and an interactive show for the younger ones. Snacks will also be available for purchase.

Tickets purchased before March 7th are $20.
Tickets are $25 at the door.

Tuesday, March 11

PJ Library Purim Storytime & Sing Along – 4:00pm – 5:00pm

Children and their parent or caregiver will listen to stories and sing songs about Purim together in the WJC Library!

Thursday, March 13th

Purim Sing Along with Tkiya – 6:30pm – 7:00pm

Join us for a fun Purim celebration with music leaders from Tkiya. Children are invited to come in costume! Parents and children are invited to sing, dance, and celebrate the holiday of Purim. Questions? Contact Aleza at educdir@wjcenter.org

Purim Costume Contest & Parade – 7:00pm – 7:30pm

Megillah Reading & Youth Activities – 7:30pm – 9:30pm

Children are invited to join in the Activity Center for different holiday related activities during Megillah reading. Together we will play different Purim games and arts and crafts. All are welcome. Purimspiel – 7:00pm – 9:00pm

The WJC Purimspiel is a laugh riot! Comedy, music, a mashup of the story of Purim with a Broadway musical. And endless mockery of our beloved clergy. It’s the funniest evening you can spend at shul outside of Tisha B’Av.
