DESCRIPTION:The theology of the High Holidays teaches us that God sits on a
  throne on high\, ruling over us and judging our actions from above. We be
 lieve that our prayers\, supplications\, and repentance will sway God towa
 rd a merciful ruling\, looking leniently upon our transgressions over the 
 past year and judging us favorably for the year ahead. But what if we've b
 een looking at the theology of the High Holidays through a misunderstood l
 ens? What if the theology of the High Holidays teaches us something radica
 lly different\, even opposite of what we have come to believe? Please join
  Rabbi Steigmann on Saturday morning\, 9/23 to explore A (Re)New(ed) High 
 Holiday Theology.\nMoishe Steigmann\, The Mindful Rabbi\, is the founder a
 nd director of a non-profit organization\, Own Your Judaism. Through his 
 organization\, he creates easeful\, joyful\, and social programming for an
 yone who wants to experience Judaism. He also speaks\, hosts livestream co
 nversations\, and offers Jewish Life Coaching and organizational consultat
 ion. An ordained rabbi with a masters in education\, he has been the rabbi
  of two synagogues\, one community Jewish day school\, and one Jewish camp
 . Specifically\, Rabbi Steigmann is thrilled to return to his family and f
 riends at WJC\, where he spent six years from 2006-2012 as the Assistant R
 abbi and Associate Rabbi.\n\nBorn and raised in Milwaukee\, Rabbi Steigman
 n is a proud father of two children\, Matan and Yael\, loves sports\, is p
