 hild. As she uncovers her past\, Klara begins to find the wholeness\, purp
 ose and love she had been missing\; and\, amidst the vestiges of a once vi
 brant Polish-Jewish community\, she sees hopeful signs of rebirth. The aut
 hor\, a psychotherapist for almost three decades\, addresses themes of gen
 erational trauma and healing\, both personal and communal\, in this inspir
