SUMMARY:Gan Shalom
DESCRIPTION:Gan Shalom is a new and engaging program being offered at WJC o
 n the first Wednesday of every month beginning in October 2024 to all WJC 
 children including our ECC children in the 3s and 4s program (member and n
 on-member) and Religious School children in Gan (Kindergarten). We are thr
 illed to have ECC teachers\, Naomi Feuerstein along with Amanda Netti\, le
 ad our Gan Shalom program.\n\nEach month Gan Shalom will focus on creating
  connections between our ECC and RS communities while learning about Jewis
 h holidays\, values\, and customs.\n\nFamilies (fee the same for members a
 nd non-members) will be charged $100 per child for 7 sessions or $20 per c
 hild per session when signing up before the day of class. Families will be
  charged $30 per child for each session if they “drop-in” to the class
 . The time for each session will be 3:45-5:15pm.\n\nDates for Gan Shalom:\

 n\n\nAbout our Gan Shalom Staff:\n\nAmanda Netti is an Assistant Teacher i
 n a Toddler 2s class. She recently shared the following: Westchester Jewis
 h Center ECC is such an enjoyable place to work. The staff partner togethe
 r to provide the children many opportunities to learn and grow. The parent
 s are true partners with us in their children’s education. I look forwar
 d to nurturing the curious young students in the Gan Shalom class.\n\nNaom
 i Feuerstein is an artist\, craftsperson\, and educator. She is currently 
 developing and running the Woodshop and Studio Art program at the ECC\, an
 d loves being part of the WJC community. Naomi is also the founder of Over
 look Woods\, a woodworking design and build studio with a commitment to su
 stainability and community. In her free time\, she likes going on nature w
