SUMMARY:J.O.Y. Club: Medical Ethics: Just Because We Can—Should We?
DESCRIPTION:Discussion of Medical Ethics in today’s dramatic technologica
 l age. The question to answer is “Just Because We Can - Should We?” We
  will start with end-of-life decisions and then broaden the scope to inclu
 de abortion\, cloning\, frozen embryos\, gene editing\, etc. as the audien
 ce expresses it’s interests. Dr. Herb Leventer will lead the discussion.
  He teaches Medical Ethics at the NYU School of Medicine and at\nStern Col
 lege of Yeshiva University.\n\nThe program will be from 3:00 - 6:00pm in t
 he Activity Room at WJC and includes a buffet supper following the talk.\n
