DESCRIPTION:Opening program of THE J.O.Y CLUB - “THE STATE OF THE STATE O
 F ISRAEL” - Sunday\, May 21 at 3:00. Rabbi Menachem Creditor will presen
 t a compelling talk discussing critical challenges facing Israel today as 
 it is deals with conflicting ideologies and religious extremes. These conf
 licts have implications for Israeli democracy\, as well as for Israel’s 
 relationships with Palestinians\, Israeli Arabs\, and American Jewry.\n\nM
 enachem Creditor is an American rabbi\, author\, poet\, and musician. He i
 s the Scholar-in-Residence at UJA-Federation New York and a renowned speak
 er. A buffet supper will follow the talk for J.O.Y members. Non-members ma
 y attend the supper for a suggested donation of $18.00 to The J.O.Y. Club
