 Subsequent sessions will explore the challenges and opportunities of the "
 sandwich" generation\, balancing career\, family\, and financial goals. An

  solid investment foundation.\nOur expert speaker\, Ben Quick\, brings a w
 ealth of knowledge and experience to the table. With over 25 years in the 
 financial industry and currently serving as a Senior VP\, Ben will share p

  the Miles Federman Memorial Lecture Series\nThis multi-year program is sp
 onsored by the Federman family to honor the long-standing and successful f
 inancial career of our long-time WJC member and friend\, Miles Federman. T
 he overall focus will be on the consequential financial decisions we all m
 ust address at various ages and stages of life.\n\nThe Federman family mov
 ed to Westchester in 1947 and became active in the WJC (originally called 
 Hebrew Institute). As a boy\, Miles was enveloped in the WJC family. Over 
 the years he became active and took on many leadership positions including
  Treasurer\, Vice President\, and President of the Cemetery Association.\n
 Miles Federman ~ October 21\, 1946 - June 8\, 2023\nMiles Federman was bor
 n to run the halls of Westchester Jewish Center. His Father\, Hy\, an inve
 stment banker was president when the Sanctuary we now pray in was built. H
 is Mother\, Sylvia\, was active in the Sisterhood and Hadassah. His sister
 \, Joan\, was the first Bat Miztvah in the new Sanctuary and Miles and his
  sons\, Marc and Steven\, were Bar Mitzvahed there. His sister Ruth was th
 e first girl Bat Mitzvah at WJC.\n\nMiles serves as treasurer\, a member o
 f the House Committee during one of the main renovations and\, at this dea
 th in June 2023\, was the President of the WJC Cemetery Association. He us
 ed his fiduciary expertise to enlarge the investment portfolio that allows
  Glenville Cemetery to be financially sound.\n\nIt is with this in mind th
 at his family set up with Miles Federman Financial Literacy Fund to honor 
 his memory\, and we thank the Zweigs and the J.O.Y. Club for facilitating
