 th Summerfield of Queens College\, CUNY present “A Man Came from Somepla
 ce: Stories\, History\, Memory from a Lost Time.” The story of Judith’
 s father's immigrant experiences as a 17-year-old Jewish escapee from a sh
 tetl in the Ukraine to his life in the U.S. A highly relevant story of sur
 vival against the odds\, of trauma and resilience\, of immigration to the 
 U.S. at a time when borders were closing.  \n\nAll programs start at 3:00
