Returning from our winter respite, the JOY Club is in action once again. Our first event will be Sunday, June 23. We are pleased to have our own Prof. Joram Warmund, Chair of the History Department at LIU, speak to “Why Did Germany Opt for Hitler? Lessons from the Past.” It is useful and instructive to revisit and re-examine the actual events that led to that pivotal historical event in Germany. Only then can we determine whether or not parallels with current conditions in the U.S. can be made, and identify the similarities and differences of those times with today.

All programs start at 3:00pm and are followed by a buffet supper. Please make your reservations through Ally in the WJC office so we know how many to prepare for: ally@wjcenter.org or 914-698-2960
