Rabbi Shai Held is Co-founder, Dean and Chair of Jewish Thought at Mechon Hadar, an institute for prayer, personal growth and Jewish study in New York City. He holds a PhD in Religion from Harvard University, has taught at the Jewish Theological Seminary, and is a recipient of the prestigious Covenant Award for Excellence in Jewish Education. Rabbi Held was the 2017 Scholar-in-Residence at WJC and is returning by popular demand.
