  remarkable life\, from a youth shattered by Kristallnacht\, his family’
 s flight to Cuba and then the US\, and a stint in the US army teaching dem
 ocracy to German prisoners of war\, to a miraculous reunion with his boyho
 od friend Henry Baum\, also a survivor\, eighty years later. Come for a mo
 ving\, heartwarming and uplifting morning. Teens as well as adults are enc
 ouraged to attend and hear Fred’s story of survival and triumph.\n\nPlea
