Scholar-in-Residence Weekend with Rabbi Michael Paley
Enduring Jewish Values and Their Relevance to Everyday Life
The Scholar-in-Residence weekend kicks off Friday evening, January 26, 2018. The weekend begins with Shabbat evening services at WJC at 6:00pm, followed by a catered community dinner and opening lecture: Jews as Wanderers and Ambassadors from Biblical Times to Today’s Revival in Eastern Europe. Rabbi Paley shares his optimism about the endurance of Jews and their survival through the ages against all odds. He will also share his personal vision for revitalizing the Jewish community in Budapest.
