 torian Jeffrey Veidlinger who will shed a new light on the origins of the 
 Holocaust and on antisemitism past and present. His talk will address the 
 widespread pogroms that broke out in Ukraine over a century ago in the aft
 ermath of World War I and the Russian Revolution. Learn about this often o
 verlooked history of mass killings by local populations that set the stage
  for the destruction of European Jewry two decades later.\n\nBooks will be
