High Holidays 5785: FAQ

We are excited to again offer options for a diverse array of services, designed to provide opportunities for all congregants!

Please note: Several of our services have limitations based on room size and other factors. Please register as early as possible so we can do our best to accommodate all requests. Seating assignments and honors begin as soon as registration closes. We are more likely to confirm your choices if you respond by the due date. All service requests must be submitted no later than Monday, July 15. All services in the Sanctuary will also be available on live stream.

All services require advance registration on ShulCloud.
This year, registration for all services and programs, ushering, volunteer opportunities, and High Holidays Greetings ($18/each) are on the same form.
Registration will close on Monday, July 15. Space is limited for Adult and Family services. Seating and honors assignments begin as soon as registration closes; we are more likely to confirm your choices if you respond by the due date. If you would like to receive a parking pass, please fill out the request form that appears after you click “Submit” on the registration form and in your submission confirmation email. Handicapped Parking passes are limited to members with mobility or medical issues.
Tickets, parking passes, and Honors information will be sent via email. For those who are not comfortable filling out forms online or need their tickets printed by WJC, please call the synagogue office at 914-698-2960. For questions regarding services or service times, please email:

PLEASE NOTE: After you fill out and submit your form(s), you should see a confirmation screen and receive a confirmation email. If you do not see the screen or receive the email, your registration was not properly processed. Please try again or call the office at 914-698-2960.

If circumstances change, our High Holiday Task Force and clergy will have contingency plans ready to implement if needed.

Both open seating and reserved seats are available in the Sanctuary Service as well as the Study Service.
Complimentary open seating tickets for your family are included with your WJC membership and include adults and children 22 and younger. Additional open seating for guests and children 23 and older are available at $180 per seat.

Reserved seats are available for adult members and children 22 and younger for $180 per seat. Additional reserved seats for your guests and children 23 and older are available at $300 per seat.

As part of the registration, you have the opportunity to note any special needs or seating preferences. We will do our best to accommodate all requests. We plan to have COVID-sensitive rows or sections in every service in which masking will required.  You must request these seats as part of your registration and every family member sitting in these designated seats should be masked. Our goal is to inform congregants of their seat assignments by Wednesday, September 18.

Childcare is available for children two and younger on Rosh Hashanah Day 1 & 2, Kol Nidre, and Yom Kippur Day. In order to staff appropriately, please indicate your childcare needs on the form when registering. The synagogue hires professional staff to provide this service.
