Israel: Two Years & Counting of War – An Evening Conversation with Marc Shulman

It has been two and a half years since October 7, 2023. Those years have transformed Israel in ways we are only beginning to understand. Israel is not the same country it was. Israelis are not the same people they were. Israel’s relationship with the world has changed, and so too has its relationship with the United States and with American Jewry.

In this discussion, Marc will try to unpack what has happened over these two and a half years and where Israel stands today: politically, socially, strategically, and psychologically. The war has reshaped the country from within while also altering how it is viewed abroad. Understanding those changes is essential to understanding Israel in the present moment, and to thinking clearly about where it may be heading next.
