The Dan and Beverly Cannold Religious School inspires young Jewish learners to joyfully explore and deepen their connection to Judaism within a warm, inclusive, and inspiring community.
Through innovative and meaningful learning experiences, we help children and their families discover purpose, belonging, and joy in Jewish life and synagogue. Throughout their years at WJC, children are guided on a journey that builds strong foundations in Jewish values, Jewish culture and history, a connection to Israel, Hebrew language, prayer, and the celebration of holidays and Shabbat—laying the groundwork for a lifelong Jewish identity. Our educational programming embraces a variety of learning modalities—including hands-on activities, music, art, discussion, reading, and reflection—to engage every child in meaningful and memorable ways.

Our Religious School prides itself on working hard to serve the needs of all children in our community. With the high caliber of staff we have in place and the engaging curriculum we have developed, our school community works hard to meet the needs of any child who may need assistance in the classroom.
In addition to assistance in the classroom, we do offer services for children with needs that may not be met in the classroom. The individual need of each student is addressed in consultation with the parents, director, and teacher.
