“How do we tell stories of our lives?”

Join us as our WJC member, Dr. Judith Summerfield shares her fascinating story of her life and work, and how it impacted the lives of many students and teachers. Judith tells stories of her life and work, how she grew up in a coal-mining town in southwestern Pennsylvania and found her way to New York City to become a professor of English at Queens College (CUNY) and a writer or editor of ten books. “Compositions, A Life” is also a book that invites the readers to take up a pen and a notebook to compose their own stories!
