Project Ezra Passover Drive

Passover is a meaningful time in Jewish tradition, but it can also bring financial strain especially for the elderly clients of Project Ezra of the Lower East Side.

For the past five years, WJC has helped to gather funds for direct relief checks that Project Ezra distributes to the often needy and frail elders to buy the Passover foods that allow them to celebrate with dignity and joy.

This year, our goal is to raise $9,000. Last year we exceeded goal and we can do it again!

Donate from March 3 through April 3 in any one of three ways:
1. Online: https://projectezra.org – note donation is from WJC member
2. Mail: Send your check made out to Project Ezra, note WJC member in the memo, to: Project Ezra 387 Grand Street, Ground Floor, New York, NY 10002 – Attn. Gerry
3. Send or bring your check to WJC: Please make the check out to Project Ezra – Write Attn: SOJAC or Sharon Silver on the envelope

This year we are also collecting 125 cans of only Kosher for Passover Tuna (OUP) for elders who requested this, as it is especially costly. Please bring your cans of Kosher for Passover tuna to WJC from March 3 through April 3. Leave them in the marked bin by the coat closet.
