Make a difference and have fun at Community Day!

Join us in supporting local organizations like HOPE Community Services, Grassroots Grocery, Neighbors for Refugees, and the WJC/SOJAC Immigration Task Force. This family-friendly event is perfect for all ages!

How To Help:

Donate:

• Book Drive: Donate gently used books for the book sale.
  • drop off books in the box in the lobby by March 21
• Used Laptops: Donate used laptops (under 5 years old) for use by refugee families in need.
  • Drop off at WJC on Community Day
• Non-perishable foods for HOPE Food Pantry (pasta, canned beans, cereal, etc.)
  • drop off in the lobby or bring on March 23

Volunteer:

• Cook: Pasta meals, sandwiches, soup-in-a-jar
• Create: Mitzvah crafts
• Shop: Do some light shopping for the event
• Set up and/or clean up at the event
• Deliver to Grassroots on March 23, 2:00 – 4:00 pm
• Deliver to HOPE on March 24, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Together, let’s help our neighbors in need. Admission is free, but we kindly ask you to bring non-perishable food items like cereal, canned beans, vegetables, and pasta to donate to the HOPE Food Pantry.
