I want to inform you, with great excitement, that Ann Pardes will be joining WJC as our new ECC Director. Ann is a wonderful fit for our community and we couldn’t feel luckier that she is coming on board!
We believe that Ann espouses many of the qualities and traits that we were looking for and that our ECC community values in our next Director. Ann brings over 30 years of Early Childhood experience, both in New York and Florida. She is currently the Director of the JCC of Harrison ECC and is excited to bring her passion for working with young children and their families to WJC. Ann holds a Masters of Arts in Teaching and Elementary Education from Manhattanville College. As a consummate learner, Ann is dedicated to professional development, for both herself and her staff, in order to bring the most current and innovative best practices into the classroom.
Ann has spent the majority of her career working in Jewish Early Childhood settings and her enthusiasm for her work is palpable. She is not only a respected and experienced leader but is also warm and inspiring. Ann is committed to developmentally appropriate, exploratory and child-centered learning and we look forward to her taking our ECC into the future!
I want to thank Ali Abrahms, Craig Rubin and the entire ECC Search Committee for their hard work and dedication. Without their efforts, we never would have found such a wonderful new Director.
Ann is very much looking forward to meeting our WJC community. In the meantime, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to Craig (firstname.lastname@example.org), Ali (email@example.com), or myself (firstname.lastname@example.org).
