Masking at Shabbat Morning Services (April 23)

Dear WJC Family,

In recognition of the poignancy and importance of the Yizkor memorial prayers and the infrequent opportunities to say them, and in order to encourage in-person attendance at Yizkor this Shabbat morning by those who may otherwise be reluctant to attend due to COVID concerns, we will require that masks be worn indoors by all attendees at Shabbat morning services this week (except when presenting on the Bima).  Please note that this requirement is applicable solely to services this Shabbat morning, and not a change in our current protocols for religious services and general Shul programming, under which masking indoors is recommended but not required.  We will continue to update you on any changes to our COVID protocols or requirements that may be applicable to particular services or events.
