WJC Sisterhood Brings Back Women’s Seder

By Karen Everett, Carol Fasman & Marisa De Sa’,   Women’s Seder Co-Chairs

It’s official! WJC Sisterhood is bringing back the Women’s Seder. Open to all but especially designed for women (adults and teens), it’s a full Seder with readings and conversation exploring the women in the liberation Exodus story and honoring the aychet chayal in our own lives. Enjoy a delicious dinner, singing, and dancing. Be inspired and learn great tips for your own Seder.

Rabbi Avi Killip will lead our special Seder. Rabbi Killip is VP of Strategy and Programs at the renowned Hadar Institute in New York City. She was ordained at Hebrew College, a pluralistic rabbinical school in Boston, Massachusetts, and holds a BA and MA in Jewish and Women & Gender Studies from Brandeis University. A Wexner Graduate Fellow and a member of the fourth cohort of the Schusterman Fellowship, Rabbi Killip serves on the advisory board of the online journal Sh’ma Now, and the Jewish Studio Project, a new Jewish learning model through art. Rabbi Killip lives in Riverdale, New York with her husband and three young children.

Celebrate with your Sisterhood “sisters” Tuesday, March 24th, at 7:00pm following Mincha/Ma’ariv. Bring your mothers, teen daughters, and friends. All are welcome ($36 for Sisterhood members and $40 for non-members).
