Thursday, May 21

5:00–6:00pm – Family Shavuot Extravaganza

Join WJC families for a fun, hands-on Shavuot holiday celebration! ECC-aged kids are invited to make blintzes and craft festive nature crowns with their grown-ups in the Rear Lobby while K-5 children can enjoy supervised activities in the Activity Center. Enjoy creative ways to celebrate the anniversary of receiving the Torah at Sinai through food and art!

6:00–7:00pm – Shavuot Community Dinner – REGISTER HERE

7:00-10:30pm – Tikkun Leil Shavuot – On Shavuot it is tradition to stay up all night learning Torah. Join clergy and lay leaders for an evening of study, food, conversation and community.

• 7:00pm – Music, Moses, and how classical composers interpreted the Revelation at Sinai – Presenters: Jon Yaeger and Cantor Ethan Goldberg
• 8:00pm – Shavuot evening services
• 8:15pm – Dessert Reception
• 8:30pm – Mourning, Kaddish, and Personal Revelation – Presenter: Stephen Rabinowitz
• 9:30pm – Revelation and the Inner Journey – Presenters: Cheryl Brause and Rabbi Jeffrey Arnowitz
