Join the WJC Social Justice Action Committee for Mitzvah Day, a day of giving, learning, and making a difference in our community! Throughout the day, participate in hands-on projects supporting local organizations and neighbors in need, including preparing meals and sandwiches for HOPE Community Services, assembling Soup in a Jar kits, creating snack bags for Mamaroneck police and security officers, collecting essential items for the Sharing Shelf, Praxis Housing Initiatives, and local housing organizations, and making a special children’s craft project for White Plains Hospital. There will also be opportunities for teens and families to get involved, learn about B’nai Mitzvah projects, and support our youth through the BBYO pizza sale. Bring a donation, lend a hand, and spend the day putting Jewish values into action!
