October 30, 2021, 10:00 am
We are thrilled to gather outdoors on the patio by the library (weather-permitting) Saturdays at 10:00am to deepen our understanding of Jewish spirituality through the practice of yoga. Please welcome Irrit Dweck and returning instructor, Robin Wald, as they lead us in inspiring infusions of Jewish wisdom, yoga and movement, meditation and relaxation. Our fall schedule is as follows:
Robin Wald is a Jewish educator who has been teaching Jewish yoga and meditation for adults, teens, and children at synagogues and religious schools in Westchester since 2005. She integrates the wisdom of Torah, Tanach, kabbalah/mysticism, Pirke Avot, and Mussar with the embodied physical and spiritual practices of yoga and meditation.
Irrit Dweck teaches Arabic and Spanish at SAR High School and Yoga to adults and teens. In her classes, she explores a connection to breathe through movement and a philosophical theme.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced yogi, please join us. Social distancing rules will be followed. Irrit and Robin are vaccinated, and anyone who is unvaccinated will be required to wear a mask. Please bring your own mat and water bottle. Blocks are optional. We greatly look forward to practicing yoga together again!
