Our revitalized Adult Education program continues with “Judaism Unveiled: Beyond the Black and White.” We’ll delve into thought-provoking themes and topics—Jewish characters, stories and holidays—in the Sunday sessions at 10:15am in the WJC Library. We invite everyone to join us.

While Rosh Hashanah, Purim, and Hanukkah are beloved holidays, they hold provocative narratives that run far deeper than our celebrations suggest. We will peel back layers of modern practices to highlight facts that are not widely known and often reveal dark truths.

January 7: Soulful Bonds

Families are ever-evolving, especially the bond between parents, children and siblings. But what exactly are the obligations that bind them? We will investigate Torah teachings to discuss the intricate web of responsibilities that shape families.

January 28: Crafting a Love That Lasts
Relationships are a blend of enchanting moments and testing trials. From the nurturing care that binds to the flames of intimacy, we will survey Jewish partnerships. We will illuminate the multifaceted obligations that shape the dance of love and partnership.
