Our revitalized Adult Education program continues with “Judaism Unveiled: Beyond the Black and White.” We’ll delve into thought-provoking themes and topics—Jewish characters, stories and holidays—in the Sunday sessions at 10:15am in the WJC Library. We invite everyone to join us.

December 3: “I’m the problem, It’s me”
Break free from the PG narratives as we uncover the hidden depths of Jewish figures you thought you knew. There’s so much more to Adam and Eve, Abraham and Sarah, and King David. We’ll reveal the rich complexity inherent in these individuals.

Upcoming:

December 10: No Tall Tales
What if there’s more to our famous legends than meets the eye? We will unearth the insights of commentators, shedding real light on Noah and the Ark, Joseph and his colored coat, and Jonah’s encounter with a whale.

December 17: Beyond Holiday Celebrations
While Rosh Hashanah, Purim, and Hanukkah are beloved holidays, they hold provocative narratives that run far deeper than our celebrations suggest. We will peel back layers of modern practices to highlight facts that are not widely known and often reveal dark truths.
