We often hear the word Teshuvah during the high holidays. Often translated as “repentance,” teshuvah literally means “return.” As we approach the high holidays after a long and challenging year, let us remember that we can return to ourselves each and every day — return to who we are, return to how it feels to be awake and present for our lives, return to who we want to be in the year ahead.
