WJC Teen Event: Israel Program: Moral Dilemmas and “My Truth” with Special Guest Israeli Shlicha Shachar Liran-Hanan

WJC Teens (10th – 12th grades) will meet Shachar Liran-Hanan, an Israeli representative of the Jewish Agency and Westchester’s resident Shlicha (emissary). Shachar will speak with the teens about her organization “My Truth,” which collects stories and explores the moral dilemmas that Israelis have faced when serving in the IDF. Teens will grapple with questions around security, geopolitics, and the military in an interactive program led by Shachar.

Since the “My Truth” program is geared to older teens, the 8th and 9th graders will participate in a separate program at 6:30pm following dinner (more information on that program to come!).
