The holiday of Shavuot commemorates the giving/ receiving of the Torah at Mt. Sinai. We also on Shavuot read Megillat Ruth, the story of Naomi and her daughter-in-law Ruth is read. Themes of kindness and devotion are strongly represented in this tale. We invite children in 1st through 6th grade to join together for Youth Services at WJC and celebrate this joyous holiday!  Parents are invited to join the congregation for Shabbat services while the children join together for Youth Services.
