Gan Shalom at WJC

Where joy, learning, and Jewish community grow together (all are welcome!)

Gan Shalom is a warm, welcoming monthly program for young children to explore Jewish values, holidays, and traditions through hands-on learning, play, and connection.

Who Can Join?

Gan Shalom is open to:

• Children enrolled in WJC’s Early Childhood Center (ECC) 3s and 4s classes

• Religious School Kindergarteners (Gan)
  Both members and non-members are welcome!

When & Where

Gan Shalom will meet from 3:30- 5:00* pm on the following dates:

September 23              

October 21

November 18

April 7                        

May 5

*ECC children who are at WJC until 2:30 pm and register for Gan Shalom may sign up for adult supervision between 2:30-3:30 pm at no additional cost.  Pre-registration is required. 

What to Expect

Each month, children will:

• Celebrate and learn about upcoming Jewish holidays

• Explore Jewish values and customs

• Connect with peers across our ECC and Religious School programs
  All in a nurturing environment led by beloved ECC teachers Naomi Feuerstein and Amanda Netti.

Program Fees

• $100 per child for the full 7-session series (must register in advance)

• $20 per session if registered before the day of class

• $30 drop-in rate per session (day-of registration)
  Fees are the same for members and non-members.
