Hebrew After-School Program At WJC

Open to All 3rd & 4th Grade Students in the Community – No Membership Required

Looking for a fun and enriching way for your child to learn and speak Hebrew? The Hebrew After-School Program at WJC is open to all incoming 3rd and 4th-grade students; you do not need to be a WJC member or enrolled in our Religious School to participate.

Program Highlights:

  • Start Date: Monday, October 20 (after the Fall Jewish holidays)

  • End Date: Monday, May 11

  • Class Time: Mondays, 4:00–4:45 PM

  • Location: Westchester Jewish Center (WJC)

  • Cost: $750 for the full year (23 sessions)

Each week, our experienced and engaging Hebrew educator, Karen Cohen, leads a small group of students through an interactive Hebrew language journey. Students will build foundational skills, grow in confidence, and begin to speak and understand modern Hebrew in a warm, supportive environment.

Whether you’re looking to introduce Hebrew to your child for the first time or deepen their skills outside of Religious School, this program is a great opportunity for Hebrew learning beyond the classroom.

Open to the Entire Community:

  • No WJC membership required

  • No Religious School enrollment needed

  • All backgrounds welcome
