From Our Jars to Others’ Hearts

The Sisterhood is proud to unveil our three-tier giving this year. The money we raise this year in our Eshet Chayil jars will go towards three meaningful Tzedakah projects. We will:

1. Raise money towards subsidizing development/ programs at WJC that the Clergy support.

2. Support a local woman’s not-for-profit to help women in need in our community.

3. Donate money towards a Jewish national/international organization.

In this fashion, we hope to make a local and global impact as a Sisterhood, showing our community and the world what a group of women can do together, as one Sisterhood.

As Rabbi Hillel taught:

If I am not for myself, who will be for me?

If I am only for myself, what am I?

If not now, when?

So starting this year, we will fill our own jars, filling us up emotionally, in order to fill others up, near and far.
