From Sisterhood to Strength

Glenna Lee, Isabelle Arditi & Marisa De Sa

We are honored to have embarked on so many wonderful projects and activities with you this past year.

Our theme this past year was Woman Of Valor and Sisterhood shined in helping to make our world a better place, donating $10,000 to WJC and local charities. We’ve supported WJC’s social action branch, SOJAC; The Scholar in Residence Program; The Florence Fund; infrastructure towards creating safe spaces at WJC during the pandemic; and renovation of the upper lobby. Outside of WJC, we’ve helped our local Food Pantry, the CRC, and Soul Ryeders. If you would like to still contribute to our Ashet Chayil, Woman of Valor Fund, please Zelle, PayPal (friend to friend, @thewjcsisterhood@gmail.com), or write a check to the WJC Sisterhood (and mail to The Sisterhood @ WJC).

Our theme for this coming year, which seems even more pertinent during COVID: “From Strength to Strength.”

Upcoming activities for the year:

  • Wine, Women and Torah!
  • Rosh Chodesh Women and Teens
  • Art
  • Cooking
  • Krav Maga (Israeli Martial Arts/Self Defense)
  • Book Club
  • Mindfulness Workshops

Be on the lookout for renewing or joining Sisterhood with our membership registration beginning this October. The cost for membership is $36 for the year (and free membership for your mother, daughter, sister, with your purchased membership, is included).
