Help Us Complete 613 Mitzvot

At the WJC community-wide barbecue on September 8, Rabbi Arnowitz kicked off an initiative in which we as a congregation will seek to undertake and complete 612 new mitzvot by Dec. 8, the date of the Rabbi’s Installation. We can do so in groups, or as individuals, as well as through the Early Childhood Center and Hebrew School. No gesture of kindness is too small. The hope is that we will complete our 613th mitzvah – inspired by the 613 mitzvot in the Torah – together at the Installation Ceremony. Please use the form here to “log” your mitzvot, so we can include them in our tally. The chairs of this initiative are Virginie and Jonathan Berg, and Sharon Weinstock and Jacques Steinberg.
