High Holidays 2020: Can You Hear It

As the call of the shofar can be heard by people far apart, uniting them in awareness, so too will we be connected this Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur by the call—the call of the shofar, the call to care for one another, our collective calling out to God, and the call to support the WJC community.

As we prepare to blow the shofar during the month of Elul, we invite all WJC congregants, of any age, to submit a brief video of themselves blowing Shofar. No experience necessary. Just have fun! The deadline is Friday, August 28. In September, our montage will be shared with WJC family and friends. Click this here to record/upload your BRIEF video.

 

Purchase a Shofar
To encourage shofar blowing, we are selling unique shofarot this High Holiday season. No two shofars are alike. To purchase a $40 shofar, please contact Rosie in the synagogue office by August 25.
