Make a Difference This Year with SoJAC!

SHARON SILVER, SoJAC CHAIR

“It is not upon you to complete the task of mending the world, nor are you free from doing your part.”
—Pirkei Avot 2:21

Are you ready to do your part? If so, the Social Justice Action Committee (SoJAC) invites you to choose one or more volunteer opportunities on the new 5779 Mitzvah Pledge Card. Each of these important programs and activities offer adults, teens, and families the chance to make a difference in our community, the greater metro area, and beyond. Keep in mind—SoJAC is not only focused on the positive contributions we can make in our community, but it also cultivates an expression of our Judaism.

Be sure to pick up your official 5779 Mitzvah Pledge Card on Kol Nidre and turn down one or more flaps. A SoJAC member will follow up with you to provide more information on opportunities throughout the year. You can also consider joining the Social Justice Action Committee—your suggestions, participation, and input are welcome and allow our initiatives to succeed.
