BY ADAM BENDER, TEEN ENGAGEMENT DIRECTOR
Part of being a teenager is going against the grain, but it’s this “rebellion” that has caused so much innovation and fresh perspective to our Teen Community over the past year.
Last month, 11 of our teens ventured to Portland, OR, to learn and to help those in need in a new city and culture they had not yet explored. They’re the changemakers we look to in the world, those willing to take a risk to get things done. I’m proud of each of them for their work and the community they’ve built.
This month, we continue to go against the grain in different meaningful ways, with a month full of events, and welcomed Alan Moskin, a survivor of the Holocaust to come and speak with our teens and community February 5.
Looking forward to seeing your teens around, and hope to see some positive rebellion along the way.
