Israeli Dance Sessions

Beginners – 7:30 to 8:30pm

Intermediate/Advanced -8:30 to 10:00pm

$10 per adult; $13 for non-members; Teens are free of charge

On most Monday nights, we offer Israeli dancing with our wonderful and patient teacher Shmulik Gov-Ari. Today’s Israeli dances are set to modern Israeli music, which is a fusion of Middle Eastern, Hassidic, and pop flavors that will lift your spirits. Shmulik also spends time teaching the meaning behind the words and even gives an occasional brief history of Israel.

Beginner Israeli Dance Sessions – 8:00pm

$150 per person

Our special beginner Israeli Dance session is for those who have never danced before or who would like a class devoted to the basics. If you are interested, please contact the office as soon as possible. The class will begin November 13 (Wednesday nights) and continues thereafter until February 5, 2020 (no class the day before Thanksgiving).

Havdallah Dance Party on October 26, 2019 – 7:15-10:15pm

$15 per person

Please join us as we celebrate Havdalah with music, song and dance Saturday night, October 26, 2019 from 7:15 to 10:15 pm, led by Shmulik Gov-Ari. We will dance for an hour, then celebrate Havdalah with guitar and song. Even if you’ve never danced before, please join us!
