Reclaiming Religion Featuring Rabbi Sharon Brous

KAREN EVERETT & MYRA GLAJCHEN, ADULT EDUCATION COMMITTEE CO-CHAIRS

You won’t want to miss this year’s Scholar-In-Residence Weekend February 7-9, 2020, as WJC hosts renowned Rabbi Sharon Brous. Recognized as one of the most influential rabbis in America (TED, The Forward, The Jerusalem Post, Newsweek) Rabbi Brous is a leading voice in the movement to revive religious life in America. Rabbi Brous is Senior Founding Rabbi of IKAR, an LA congregation focused on reinvigorating Jewish practice through spirituality and social justice. Since its founding, IKAR has become one of the fastest-growing congregations in the US.

Reclaiming Religion explores how we can derive meaning and purpose in our daily lives through Jewish practice. Join us for engaging sessions throughout the weekend. For a sneak preview, take a look at Rabbi Brous’s 2016 TED talk at wjcenter.org/sir.
