Shabbat Shalom ~ Kedoshim 2022

Dear WJC Family,

Just a quick note today, since you got a letter from me on Wednesday in honor of Yom Haatzmaut. I hope you had a chance to read it and I look forward to continuing our exploration of Israel together, through discussion or maybe even in-person. If you did not have a chance to read the note, you can do so by clicking here and please contact David Goldstein if you are interested in attending The Israel Day Parade in NYC on May 22.

And speaking of May 22, I hope you are planning to attend our annual Gala. This year we are honoring Ian and Jennifer Winters and Marc Karell and Linda Alpert, four of our most committed and effective volunteers. I hope you will join us for what promises to be a fun night of celebration. If you haven’t responded yet, please do! For details click here.

There’s a lot of wonderful things going on at the synagogue and, for the most part, we are back in the swing of things. There are excellent programs and services being offered regularly, so check out the calendar and join us. This Shabbat we have a Simple & Soulful Service with Cantor Goldberg and Rabbi Dalton and it is a Religious School Shabbat as well. We will be giving a special honor to our 7th graders who will be completing their WJC Religious School experience and transitioning to our Teen Engagement Program—mazal tov to the 7th grade and their families.

See you in shul,
