Dear WJC Family,
As the tide of the pandemic turns and recommended restrictions regarding COVID-19 change, we are eager to welcome you all back to the WJC campus. We understand that different people will feel comfortable reintegrating at different paces. Therefore we are making every effort to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort, as well as to include as many people as possible.
To achieve that goal we are offering a wide variety of indoor and outdoor programs, services, and experiences. Keep an eye on the Review, weekly email, our website, and Facebook page for details of events. We have also made the following updates to our COVID-19 policies:
Outdoor programming:
At adult programs please wear a mask when moving around, such as getting up to get food or move to your seat at an outdoor service. Once seated among people with whom you are comfortable, feel free to unmask. If you are unvaccinated, masks are still required even when seated, except for when eating.
At children’s programs and services, we ask that all participants over two years old continue to wear masks. When seated with family to eat at a meal like Shabbat Kiddish Lunch, children may remove their masks.
Indoor programming:
For the time being, masking and social distancing will continue to be required for all programs, services, and activities inside the WJC building, as well as social distancing by pod (a pod is defined as a group of people you would like to sit with and does not have to be members of your household).
We are excited to see you back in synagogue and are looking forward to taking continued steps as the situation dictates, so please be on the lookout for continued policy updates.
