A Lost Love: One Family’s Forgotten History
Sunday, March 3, 2019, • 10:00-11:00AM
Years after her grandparents passed away, journalist Sarah Wildman discovered a cache of love letters sent to her grandfather by a former lover in prewar Vienna. In her debut book, Paper Love: Searching for the Girl My Grandfather Left Behind, she details her search to discover information about the mysterious woman, her family’s escape from Nazi persecution, and all that was left behind. Come learn about Wildman’s journey as she unveiled the facts and find out how she approaches topics like the Holocaust with her own children.
The entire WJC community is invited, as are friends and family. Parents whose children are at religious school are encouraged to come. Breakfast will be served. Books will be sold.
