As such, I hope you will join us at our Community Memorial Day Event Thursday night at 8:00pm. The keynote speaker, Adm. (ret.) Herm Shelanski is a friend and member of my former congregation in Norfolk. He was the highest-ranking Jew in the US military. He is a wonderful person and an inspiring speaker who served with honor. It promises to be a meaningful and important evening.
