Installation of Rabbi Jeffrey Arnowitz FAQ
Dear Congregants,
We look forward to celebrating the installation of Rabbi Jeffrey Arnowitz with you on Sunday, December 8 at 10:30am and to completing our goal of 613 Mitzvot.
The Installation Committee would like to answer some potential questions that you may have.
- What is the schedule of events for the day?
The days programming begins at 10:30am sharp. Please click here for program details.
- Is there a dress code?
We welcome everyone. We understand that our children will be coming from Religious School. We ask you to dress respectfully given the importance of the occasion.
- Is there a charge for the event?
There will be no charge for the Installation or Mitzvah Program. We encourage congregants of all ages to attend.
- Will food be served?
There will be a celebratory lunch, music, and dancing following the ceremony.
- Where can I park?
In addition to our WJC parking lots and street parking, there will be limited parking available at Mamaroneck High School across the street from the synagogue.
- How can I participate in the 613 Mitzvot Project?
In addition to the many day-to-day mitzvot that you may have already completed, SOJAC will be sponsoring the very important annual Holiday Gift Drive benefiting the Community Resource Center. Even if you have completed a mitzvah card, we encourage you to participate in this effort. Please click here for more information.
- I have a child(ren) in Religious School. Can I still attend? Can my child(ren) attend?
